MAP READING WITH JENNY

Disconnect from technology, connect with nature

The art of map reading is gradually being lost.

Over the past year we are out walking more and enjoying our countryside. Why not explore further afield, give variety to your walks and gain confidence to try new routes? Try something new or develop your map reading skills further.

Never worry about your phone running out of battery power, learn to navigate our local paths and have an adventure with like-minded people. Let Jenny take you on a gentle 5 - 6 km guided walk where you can learn about reading and interpreting an Ordnance Survey map. Learn how to orientate your map, plan your own routes and also how to use a compass.

Join an adult only group of 2 - 6 people, or book a bespoke trip for your family or group of friends. These are dog friendly walks.

WHAT GUESTS SAY

I’d struggled in my youth learning map reading and presumed that it just wasn’t going to my thing  This is until Jenny’s encouraging way of teaching.  She has a delightful way of making it seem straightforward, interesting and enjoyable.  Came away feeling confident now in my ability to follow a map.  Looking forward to the next step involving use of the compass!
